Well, don’t be clueless anymore!

Our buddy Google is at 🛟 rescue

Yes! Google Analytics is the key to solving the puzzle of Facebook analytics

How?

Let’s see🍿

1. SETUP UTM TRACKING ON FACEBOOK

With the help of one magic code! You can now track all your Facebook campaigns on google analytics much more efficiently.

To set this up 🪄

A. Select all Ads on your Facebook Ads account

B. Click edit and enter the following code into the URL parameter text :

utm_source=Facebook&utm_medium=FB_Ads&utm_campaign={{campaign.id}}&utm_content={{ad.id}}

This will transfer all the campaigns and ads under them to your Google analytics and open your world to better tracking of ads on Facebook and your journey towards a progressive ROAS with strategizing becoming a cakewalk

2. LET THE DATA FLOW :

Once the code is added to your Facebook Ads account, your ad reports📈will start showing on the analytics screen. Though the data to your previous campaigns won’t be visible. The new campaigns will be tracked better.

Just wait patiently till you have enough data to formulate your plans and leverage them to bring more 🤑 in on every campaign.

3. ANALYSE EM’ NUMBERS :

As soon as you have the numbers coming in, here’s how you can analyze them the best:

Last-click results.

This can be accessed in your Google Analytics account under Acquisitions.

👉Click all campaigns

👉Paste the campaign ID from your Facebook Ads manager

👉Select based on the campaigns you want to know more about

👉Once you’ve filtered, select Add content as the secondary dimension.

The E-commerce view looks something like this and gives an overview of all necessary metrics for your future strategies.

To ensure it’s all right, you can compare your Analytics and Facebook data to check what’s wrong and right in your Facebook data.

4. MORE IS GOOOOD

Well, data is the key to growth digitally! But how do you access it, and ensure all the hits on your website get recorded and you can retarget them all again and again until they convert?

Luckily! Google Analytics records every single hit. You need to use Analytics “Multi-Channel Funnels” to get to this goldmine of data.

Using this you can track :

⭐exactly when the user came to your website and

⭐how long before they came back and purchased,

⭐ it can even tell you exactly which ad got them to the site.

To set up multi-channel funnels :

👉Enter Google Analytics

👉Click on Multi Channels

👉Select channel funnels and assisted conversions

👉Then click campaign as the primary dimension

👉Filter based on a particular campaign ID.

👉Then you’ll be given the campaign ID, make it the secondary dimension, and click ad content.

Under the last click or direct conversions, you can view the last click transaction that will give you the true number of interactions that resulted in conversions.

How Twitter’s latest feature will help your DTC brand

Although Twitter’s future is uncertain, the firm is continuing to create products in numerous important areas of focus, This also includes e-commerce.

This time around the feature is called “Product Drop” it lets brands tease the launch of a new product. Brands are already jumping onto it, and it seems like the feature may be here to stay.

With Product Drop, merchants can showcase their products in both text and image format, in addition to the text and the images, they can also highlight when the product would be available for purchase. As soon as they click on the product, they will be taken to the product details page where everything is available in detail.

You can also allow people to add a reminder for the actual launch with the “Remind Me” button so you don’t miss out on any traction or opening sales.

Amazon for your DTC brand?

What if we told you, you can now try out shoes on Amazon before you buy them? Yes! It’s happening, Amazon has ventured into the augmented reality experience for its customers.

This feature has been enabled for shoes, where you can try them on to see how they look through the touch of a button on your phone.

The introduction comes after the company’s April deployment of virtual try-on technology for athletic shirts as part of an update to its “Made for You” personalized clothing service. However, in that scenario, the technology was rendering the garment on an avatar that depicts the customer’s body and is based on their actual measurements, rather than using AR.

The new augmented reality shoe try-on function will first be available in the Amazon shopping app for iOS in the United States and Canada. Customers can start using the functionality by tapping on the new “Virtual Try-On” button underneath the product image on supported styles.
